Striving for Fit Post 3

Finished and Ready to Begin

So I have my food from the grocery store . For this week I bought 5 pre-made salads to get me through the work week . For variety I will probably swap one pre-made dinner and eat that for lunch with one salad to eat for dinner. I also picked up some sharp cheddar snack bars and 5 Quest Protein Bars along with eggs and Orange Juice.

My plan is to cut down the orange juice over the next week from 8 oz to 4 oz and then none. At that point I will begin taking Vitamin C supplements as I truly believe taking Vitamin C every day has helped prevent me from getting sick.  I also have a coffee problem which the nutritionist girl I met with earlier today pointed out. Simply put I need to cut it out completely. She was unforgiving on this point. Truth is I put way too much sugar in my coffee 3 -4  heaping tablespoons of Turbinado Raw Sugar it is the only way I can get over the bitter taste of coffee. The only reason I really drink coffee is to wake me up as I am by no means a morning person. However she said that will all change one I am eating clean always.  I am skeptical but willing to try I will see what happens.

I ran out real quick while my girlfriend was on the phone tonight and grabbed a newspaper so I can use the date on the paper as a time stamp to document my before photos I also snuck in my final slice of pizza to say so long my friend pizza. It was my favorite kind of slice the local pizzeria offers it is a blue cheese base with cheese, chicken mozzarella and a sweet wing sauce … shhh she doesn’t know.. of course I am sure she will read this at some point so I will say it now; I had to have my last one.  I quickly ate it at the pizza place and then came back home.

I worked on some more things including continuing to look at different themes for this blog. Still undecided…She made meatloaf for dinner, not my favorite but better than any other I have had.  so I ate dinner and then asked her to take some before photos to document what I look like before I begin my journey tomorrow. I have not decided whether to upload them yet on this blog. We then sat down and watched a couple episodes of The Expanse on Amazon Prime and now I’m off to bed
