Last night I did not get the opportunity to post an evening post as I wanted to get to bed earlier so that I could try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. I replaced the batteries in the scale last night but that does not appear to be resolving the issue, again when I weighed in I couldn’t get the same weight again until I stepped on the scale for the 3rd or 4th time. I am noticing about +- .6 lbs of fluctuation between numbers. Today’s stats

Yesterday I did walk, it seems progress has really slowed down for the past days. I am not sure though if the scale is partially to blame. I am not sure what else I can do other than break the diet and have a high calorie day as I am wondering if my body went into starvation mode. Since the 19th I have only lost 1lb thats .25lbs per day which is really low. While it is still losing weight the progress is much too slow. I am going to see what happens tomorrow morning. If by tomorrow something doesn’t change then I feel it is is time to do something much different for one day to shock the system per se.
It is times like this when willpower becomes very difficult as I was still hungry last night and had considered breaking the diet last night for just one night and then getting right back on track. I will have to see what tomorrow brings but I have to keep focusing on the bigger goal which is difficult when you do not make much progress you start to feel doomed to always be fat and like the world is working against you. I realize though that is not the case as much as I may try to feel that way. The reality is my body is going to fight me at times on this as its doing what it is meant to do, survive. Sometimes that means it does not make the best decisions that support my overall goals such as weight loss.
If by tomorrow I do not see at least a 1lb drop then I am going to replace the scale and most likely break the diet to reset my metabolism. That is all for now.. I probably will not do an evening post tonight as I have a lot going on right now.
